Family Involvement Specialist
Family Involvement and Community Services
10 Months- Grade 12- Hourly rate $24.57
A bachelor's degree is preferred; a minimum of three (3) years of experience in education, social services or a related field is required. Experience that demonstrates the candidates ability to develop, organize, and implement action plans is required. Applicants with bilingual skills encouraged to apply. Tennessee drivers license and insured vehicle required. Must be able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Publisher, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Access).
Work with school community and community stakeholders to develop and implement a plan to engage families and remove barriers to student achievement; to develop opportunities for building family engagement capacity, to identify student barriers and family needs; to develop, implement and document measurable action steps that satisfy the requirements of grants, to establish and maintain lines of communication between families, community partners , schools and other departments; to develop and provide training; to provide assistance to families.
